Being pregnant with baby #2 has not been a thrilling
adventure than my first pregnancy was, it has been an entirely different experience than
being pregnant with my first born. When I was pregnant the first time, I was extremely
excited, knowing that I was going to be a mother and knowing that I had an amazing
little princess, a delicate creature growing a new life in a mysterious way
inside of me. I was told to rest as much as possible. I was always being encouraged
to pamper myself, told your glowing! You
look amazing! You don’t look pregnant! Etc… I found out I was expecting with
baby #2 a week before starting a new job, and moving to another city. I felt
miserable because, I had horrible morning sickness while working and couldn’t
leave, my iron was extremely low so I had to take Iron supplements, I can’t
rest, I don’t get any downtime or alone time since I home school, let alone time
to pamper myself. I am happy about baby number 2, I feel blessed to know that I’m
going to be mommy to another beautiful baby girl, but it’s been a challenge. I
do thank God every day for my wonderful family and friends who have been by my
side. Only 3 more months left till baby #2 arrive and I’m excited and anxious
to meet her!

I am excited for you and can certainly relate to the different phases of life when new motherhood is on the horizon (I have 3 boys). Even though I'm not able to "see you", I can still say I'm sure you're glowing with the goodness of the Lord, even in the midst of having your hands and plate full! God is with you...please post a pic of the new one when she arrives! Thx for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAW! thanks Wendy :)) I definitely will be posting a picture of baby when she arrives. I'm so excited and tired at the same time lol!
